Specialized English for Business at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa (UJD) is a two-year Master's (second-cycle) programme with a general academic profile, taught in English at the Faculty of Humanities. It is for Polish and international students who want advanced business English and practical preparation for work in an international environment.
The curriculum focuses on subjects linked to changes in today's economy and job market, including:
The programme includes placements in positions that require advanced and specialised English.
You develop business English at C1+ level together with key competences such as initiative, teamwork, independent planning, critical thinking and digital skills. You also study an additional business language at B2+ level – German, French, Spanish or Chinese, at your choice. Social science subjects introduce you to synergy, sustainable development and integration.
Graduates can work in international enterprises, organisations and institutions – for example in shared services centres, customer and key-account service, administration with a foreign language, director's offices and foreign cooperation departments, including in financial and logistics companies.
The programme deliberately points to sectors and types of work rather than single job titles, since job names change quickly. What you gain is specialised business language and the foundations of business activity in a changing global economy.
