Why study it:

Management at WSB University (Akademia WSB) is a six-semester first-cycle programme taught in English, leading to a bachelor's degree. It is for people who want to enter business with concrete skills, whether as a future manager, an entrepreneur or a specialist in an international organisation.

The core content covers economics, law, social sciences and quantitative methods. The subject-specific modules focus on organisation and management, marketing, business negotiations, managing company resources and the financial side of running an organisation.

You learn to identify and solve problems in human resources, finance, information and business processes, make sound decisions and manage projects and teams. You also practise communication, teamwork and negotiation in an intercultural setting and learn how to build employee engagement and delegate tasks. The curriculum is regularly consulted with employers, industry experts and business partners.

Specialisation: digital marketing, SMEs or corporate finance

You choose one of three specialisations:

  • E-Business in Digital Marketing – digital marketing, e-commerce, online communication and brand building.
  • Small and Medium Business Management – running small and medium-sized enterprises and developing your own business.
  • Financial Management in Enterprise – corporate finance, financial analysis and strategic planning.

Placements: practical module with business

A practical module with training, work placements and meetings with business representatives complements the classes, alongside university-wide subjects and preparation for the thesis.
