Why study it:

Jagiellonian University in Kraków (UJ) runs Responsible Entrepreneurship and Management as a three-year (six-semester), full-time Bachelor's programme with a general academic profile, taught in English at the Institute of Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication. It is meant for students who want to combine management and entrepreneurial skills with a responsible, sustainable approach to business.

Programme: management, start-ups and digital change

The core discipline is management and quality studies, extended with topics such as:

  • entrepreneurship and start-up culture
  • how companies operate in an international environment
  • data-driven innovation and digital transformation
  • the social and environmental responsibility of organisations
  • creating new ventures in line with the principles of sustainable development

Labs: a modern building on the campus

Classes are organised in coherent thematic modules, which helps you understand business processes in depth and build practical skills step by step. The faculty is based in a modern building on the 600th Anniversary Campus in the Ruczaj district of Kraków, with lecture and seminar rooms and computer labs. You can also use the faculty library, whose collection is regularly updated with new books in Polish and English.

Languages: fully in English

The whole programme is taught in English, so it is designed for candidates who already use English at a level that allows them to study in it when they register. Working in English from day one prepares you for teams and organisations that operate internationally.

After graduation: manager, consultant or founder

Graduates know management, innovation and digital transformation, and can use data and technology in decision-making. They are prepared to manage teams and to start and carry out change in private, public and non-profit organisations, in an international setting.

You can develop as a manager, a consultant or a leader of digital projects – or set up your own business or start-up based on responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable development. After the Bachelor's degree you can continue with a Master's programme or postgraduate studies.

Did you know? The faculty runs its own student TV station, UJOT.TV, and student radio, UJOT.FM.

Poorly managed corporations, disorganized businesses, and badly led service agencies experience crisis daily and most will eventually fail. In contrast, the danger is to well organized, smooth running institutions that may not recognize a building crisis.
