Jagiellonian University in Kraków (UJ) runs Dentistry as a five-year (ten-semester), full-time long-cycle Master's programme taught entirely in English, organised by the Institute of Dentistry of the Faculty of Medicine, UJ Collegium Medicum. It is meant for students who want to qualify as dentists while keeping a solid medical foundation.
The programme covers more than 5,000 class hours and 300 ECTS credits. You study both the basic sciences and the clinical disciplines that allow graduates to practise dentistry. The curriculum deliberately keeps its medical character while concentrating on the professional fields of dentistry, so you graduate with basic knowledge of medicine and advanced knowledge of dentistry.
Teaching is linked to the University Dental Clinic in Kraków, where modern technology is used both for medical records and for patient care, and the Institute of Dentistry also uses it to manage teaching. Students can additionally use the Medical Library and join dozens of student research groups and the UJ CM Student Scientific Society.
The programme belongs to the School of Medicine in English at the Faculty of Medicine:
