Why study it:

The Master in Management at Kozminski University in Warsaw is a Master's programme (second-cycle, 2 years), taught in English in full-time, part-time and part-time online mode. It is for graduates who want a broad set of business skills and analytical tools – whether they plan to start a business career or continue to doctoral studies.

Programme: strategy, people and case studies

You learn to formulate and implement company strategy, manage complex projects within budget and time limits, and analyse organisations and business models. The programme also covers managing people in international settings and the psychology of behaviour in organisations. Classes combine taught modules, workshops, simulations and case studies, with learning materials from Harvard Business Publishing Education. A wide range of electives lets you shape your own path, and digital courses cover business analytics for managers and building business applications with automation.

Specialisation: five majors

Your major is stated on the diploma; availability depends on the study mode:

  • Digital Marketing (full-time, part-time),
  • Strategy and Innovation Management in the Age of AI (full-time, part-time, part-time online),
  • Artificial Intelligence in Business (full-time, part-time online),
  • ESG and Sustainable Management (full-time),
  • Project Management (part-time).

Placements: 135-hour internship and study visits

A professional internship of 135 hours (5 ECTS) is required to complete the programme.

Industry partners co-develop the curriculum, teach as guest speakers and offer internships. Students also join study visits and on-campus meetings with companies such as T-Mobile Polska, J.P. Morgan and JTI.

Exchanges: double degree and Global Network Weeks

Full-time students can spend the second year at a partner university in a double degree programme and graduate with diplomas from both schools; part-time students can apply after switching study mode. Kozminski is a member of GNAM, a network of business schools led by Yale University. This gives you access to Global Network Weeks – week-long courses at a member school with lectures by international experts and visits to local companies – as well as online courses and international student projects.

After graduation: consulting, strategy and HR

Graduates work, among others:

  • as strategy or management consultants,
  • in corporate strategy planning and business analysis,
  • in human resource management in domestic and international companies or public administration,
  • in marketing, advertising and PR departments, or in their own firm working with foreign partners.

Management
The remarkable thing about management is that a manager can go on for years making mistakes that nobody is aware of, which means that management can be a kind of a con job.
Akio Morita (1987). Made in Japan, p. 154
Management
A company will get nowhere if all of the thinking is left to management.
Akio Morita (1987). Made in Japan, p. 149
Management
Administration is the most obvious part of government; it is government in action; it is the executive, the operative, the most visible side of government, and is of course as old as government itself.
