The Master in Finance and Accounting at Kozminski University in Warsaw is a two-year second-cycle (Master's) programme taught in English, full-time with evening classes or part-time at weekends. It is for graduates planning an international career in finance who want to combine work with study.
The programme covers advanced financial topics and teaches problem-solving according to CFA and ACCA standards, with sustainability built into the syllabi. Courses in business analytics for managers and building business applications with automation teach data-driven decisions. Partners including Citibank Europe PLC, Accenture, KPMG, UN Global Compact and J.P. Morgan sit on the Program Council, shape course content and run guest lectures.
In the Bloomberg Finance Lab you work with the professional Bloomberg database and ChatGPT tools on financial markets, risk management and trading, and can earn the BMC and ESG certificates.
A mandatory 130-hour internship worth 5 ECTS takes place in the fourth semester or, with the Vice Dean's approval, after the first. Partners also offer internships and jobs, and study visits have recently brought students to MDDP, RSM, Point72 and J.P. Morgan.
In the second year you can go to a partner university for a double degree programme and graduate with diplomas from both Kozminski and the partner school.
Graduates work as finance specialists, financial analysts or managers in banks, insurers, investment funds and brokerage firms, international corporations and the public sector. Other paths include controlling, accounting and audit, sustainable finance and international banking areas such as fintech and AML.
