1. You come across a music video online where AI-generated images change in time with the beat. What do you think?

I wonder how it was made – which tool, and how they synced the visuals with the sound – and I want to try something similar. Cool effect – I send it to my friends. I just keep scrolling.

2. An image generator gives you something completely different from what you wanted. What do you do?

Tweak the prompt and settings and compare versions until I understand what actually changes the result. Generate it a few more times and pick the best one. Give up – the tool just doesn’t work.

3. Have you ever tried coding?

Yes, I write simple scripts and I’m curious how neural networks work under the hood. A bit, in computer science lessons. No, and I don’t really fancy it.

4. You’ll study in an international environment, in English: classes, tool documentation and project presentations, working in teams with students from many countries. How does that sound?

Great – most material on AI and multimedia is in English anyway, and a team from different cultures will bring fresh ideas to every project. Fine, though presenting my projects in English makes me a bit nervous. I’d rather study in my first language.

5. Someone posts an AI-generated video of a celebrity and claims it’s real. How do you react?

I think about the consequences of videos like that and how creators should label AI-generated content. It bothers me a bit, but I don’t give it much more thought. It’s just the internet – no big deal.

6. Your class is making a short film to promote a school event. Which role do you go for?

I combine editing, graphics and music, use AI tools for things like noise removal, and then polish the final cut by hand. I’ll edit the footage if someone tells me what should go in it. I’d rather someone else handled it.

7. How do you feel about maths?

I like it, especially when I can see how it turns into graphics, sound and the way algorithms work. I get by, though it’s not my passion. I try to avoid it.

8. A new AI tool for creating music and sound effects comes out. What do you do?

Try it straight away, find its limits and think about which project it could be useful for. Wait for someone to post a tutorial on how to use it. It doesn’t interest me.

9. What kind of work can you see yourself doing in future?

Creating interactive media, visual effects or creative tools powered by AI. Anything to do with computers. A job where I don’t need a computer.

10. What motivates you most to study Multimedia and AI?

The chance to combine creativity with technology and make media that didn’t exist before. Interest in a fashionable, fast-growing field. I’m not sure it’s for me
