At Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań, Cloud Engineering sits inside the Information Technology programme and points you towards systems that live in the cloud rather than on a single machine.
Your work centres on Kubernetes. You set up clusters, trace what breaks in them and fix it, and you handle Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
Storage and network resources are part of the job too, while site reliability engineering gives you principles for keeping services stable. Project management completes the picture, so you can plan and deliver cloud work as well as build it.
Taught in English. The Information Technology programme runs for seven semesters and ends with an engineer's degree, with classes built around projects and led by industry practitioners.
The programme page names cloud solutions developer, cloud developer, cloud engineer and engineer of systems and cloud platforms as the typical next step after this path.
