Why study it:

Business Analyst is a specialisation of the bachelor's degree in Management at Akademia WSB-NLU in Nowy Sącz – six semesters (three years) of full-time study on campus, Monday to Friday. It is meant for people interested in economics and mathematics who think logically, have good soft skills and want analytical work: describing business processes and writing project documentation.

Programme: numbers, finance and data

Analytical and financial subjects sit alongside the management core:

  • Statistics, and Reporting and Data Analysis
  • Corporate Finance and Managerial Economics
  • Databases, IT systems and spreadsheet applications
  • Quality Management and Project Management
  • Marketing Research and Organisational Behaviour

Specialisation: from business needs to process change

The specialisation trains you to identify, analyse and verify business needs, to research, evaluate and document business models, and to improve processes and introduce organisational change. You also learn to plan strategy, develop business policy and solve problems that come from a company's operating procedures. Because you are taught by lecturers who practise business analysis, preparing audits and business reports becomes a routine skill rather than theory.

Languages: Polish language classes

Polish language classes are included in the Business Analyst programme throughout your studies.

After graduation: analytical roles in companies

You can start work as a business analyst or business process analyst, a project manager, a financial data analyst or a business operations risk analyst, or join an analytical team.

The role fits companies that want a clear picture of their needs, financial situation and internal processes – more and more of them hire trained business analysts to complement their existing staff.

As of the 2026/27 admissions, based on the programme pages at wsb-nlu.edu.pl.

Business
Business is the activity of making one's living or making money by producing or buying and selling goods or services. Simply put, it is "any activity or enterprise entered into for profit. It does not mean it is a company, a corporation, partnership, or have any such formal organization, but it can range from a street peddler to General Motors." The term is also often used colloquially (but not by lawyers or public officials) to refer to a company, but this article will not deal with that sense of the word.
Business
Somewhere in the past. organizations were quite simple, and 'doing business' consisted of buying raw material from suppliers, converting into products, and selling it to customers... For the most part owner-entrepreneurs founded such simple business and worked along with members of their families. The family-dominated business still accounts for a large portion of the business start today.
R. Edward Freeman (2007) Strategic Management: A Stakeholder Approach p. 5
Business
However successful a man may be in his own business, if he turns from that and engages ill a business which he don't understand, he is like Samson when shorn of his locks his strength has departed, and he becomes like other men.
P. T. Barnum, 'Beware of Outside Operations', The Art of Money Getting (1880).
Business
What I must understand is why someone will continue to get out of bed in the morning once they have all the money they could want. Do they love the business, or do they love the money?
