Why It's Worth It:

A Unique Blend of Business and Technical Competencies

The Bachelor in Management and Artificial Intelligence program at Kozminski University is a pioneering educational path that merges traditional management knowledge with the latest digital technologies. The curriculum is designed as a direct response to the growing global demand for leaders who can navigate the complex world of algorithms and data. This approach allows students to acquire a rare and highly sought-after combination of skills, positioning them as a vital link between technical departments and strategic executive leadership.

Practical Coding and Analytics Skills

The program places a strong emphasis on developing hard technological skills, enabling participants to learn programming in several languages, particularly those essential for data science. Students master the tools necessary to identify, collect, and interpret massive datasets, known as Big Data. This proficiency allows for data-driven business decision-making based on reliable evidence and advanced statistical models, which serves as the foundation of modern organizational management.

Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Business

At Kozminski University, a significant portion of the curriculum is dedicated to artificial intelligence and machine learning modules. Students do not just learn the theoretical aspects of how these technologies work; they primarily focus on how to implement them within real-world business processes. They explore mechanisms of automation, service personalization, and operational optimization, preparing them to act as architects of change in a digital society and economy.

Development of Individual Projects and Startups

Education in this field is highly project-oriented, manifesting in work on specific implementation solutions or startup concepts. Under the guidance of experienced mentors and academic experts, students learn how to plan ventures from the ground up, stimulating their entrepreneurship and creative thinking. These experiences allow them to test their acquired knowledge in practice before even graduating and receiving their diploma.

International Environment and Strategic Partnerships

The program is conducted entirely in English, attracting candidates from all over the world and creating a multicultural atmosphere conducive to the exchange of ideas. The institution collaborates with numerous strategic partners from the technology sector, ensuring that teaching content is constantly updated and aligned with industry requirements. Students also have the opportunity to participate in international exchanges with many partner universities across multiple continents.

Understanding the Social Impact of Technology

The curriculum is not limited to technical and financial aspects but also considers the humanistic and social dimensions of the digital revolution. Participants analyze how artificial intelligence changes human interactions, affects organizational culture, and what ethical challenges are associated with its widespread use. This holistic approach helps shape conscious managers who can lead innovations in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Broad Career Opportunities

Graduates are prepared to work in a variety of environments, from dynamic technology startups to international corporations, consulting firms, and analytical agencies. They can take on roles such as market development specialists, AI project managers, or digital transformation experts. Solid foundations in research methods and acquired certificates in the field of machine learning provide a significant advantage when building a career path in any sector of the modern economy.

Definitions and quotes

Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI, also machine intelligence, MI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the natural intelligence (NI) displayed by humans and other animals. In computer science AI research is defined as the study of "intelligent agents": any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals. Colloquially, the term "artificial intelligence" is applied when a machine mimics "cognitive" functions that humans associate with other human minds, such as "learning" and "problem solving".
Intelligence
Intelligence has been defined in many different ways to include the capacity for logic, understanding, self-awareness, learning, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, and problem solving. It can be more generally described as the ability to perceive or infer information, and to retain it as knowledge to be applied towards adaptive behaviors within an environment or context.
Management
Management (or managing) is the administration of an organization, whether it is a business, a not-for-profit organization, or government body. Management includes the activities of setting the strategy of an organization and coordinating the efforts of its employees (or of volunteers) to accomplish its objectives through the application of available resources, such as financial, natural, technological, and human resources. The term "management" may also refer to those people who manage an organization.
Intelligence
We really seek intelligence not for the answers it may suggest to the problems of life, but because we believe it is life,—not for aid in making the will of God prevail, but because we believe it is the will of God. We love it, as we love virtue, for its own sake, and we believe it is only virtue’s other and more precise name.
John Erskine, The Moral Obligation to be Intelligent (1915), pp. 26-27
Management
The remarkable thing about management is that a manager can go on for years making mistakes that nobody is aware of, which means that management can be a kind of a con job.
Akio Morita (1987). Made in Japan, p. 154
Intelligence
Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.
George Orwell, in a review of A Coat of Many Colours: Occasional Essays by Herbert Read, Poetry Quarterly (Winter 1945).
