Why study it:

Cosmetology at WAMT (Warszawska Akademia Medyczno-Techniczna Nauk Stosowanych) is a first-cycle programme leading to a Bachelor's degree. It suits you if you want to understand cosmetic products from the inside – what they are made of and how they work – and use that knowledge in safe, professional skin care.

Programme: skin diagnostics, procedures and cosmetic formulas

During the programme you build knowledge and practical skills in four areas:

  • safety and effectiveness of the beauty, care and treatment procedures within a cosmetologist's competence
  • types, applications and effects of cosmetic products available on the market, and the methods of manufacturing and applying them
  • professional skin diagnostics and individual cosmetology advice for clients
  • reading cosmetic formulas and describing the composition of cosmetic products

After graduation: salons, cosmetic companies, testing laboratories

As a graduate you can work directly with clients in cosmetic parlours and in wellness and spa salons, where skin diagnostics and knowledge of procedures are part of everyday practice. Another path leads to cosmetic companies – not only to distribution and sales departments, but also to training and quality control.

The degree also prepares you for work in laboratories that test the effectiveness of cosmetic products, in cosmetology schools and in editorial offices of professional magazines covering cosmetology and cosmetics.

As of the 2026/27 admissions, based on the programme page at wamt.edu.pl.
