⇑Why choose the Start-ups specialisation at SWPS University?

Dlaczego warto studiować na Uniwersytecie SWPS
Why study it:

The Start-ups specialisation on the Management and Leadership programme at SWPS University is chosen after the first year of the three-year bachelor's degree. It is for people who dream of launching their own business.

Programme: from idea to business venture

The specialisation gives you the theoretical background and practical skills needed to start and develop a business of your own.

You learn to create and develop innovative ideas, evaluate and verify new business concepts, win clients and design value propositions for them, and identify potential sources of funding. You also work on your business strategy and improve your own management skills.

Placements: testing ideas in practice

Practice runs through the whole programme: internships and projects for business partners are part of the curriculum, and in the final year you bring your work together in a professional graduation portfolio rather than a bachelor's thesis.

After graduation: a founder's path

The most direct route is becoming a start-up founder: developing a product or service, acquiring clients and investors, and working on the company's development strategy. The same skills point towards roles such as Business Development Manager, who looks for growth opportunities and new markets, or Innovation Specialist, who develops and improves solutions that are in demand.
