Why study it:

Social Potential Management in Organizations is a specialisation of the Bachelor’s degree in Management, taught in English at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (AHE). It suits students who want to work with people – in HR, consulting or socially responsible organisations – and build relations between a company and its stakeholders.

Programme: HR, social marketing and social economy

The specialisation brings together human resource management, social marketing, social economy and related fields, so you are prepared for work in both business and the social sector. The programme deals with practical problems of the managerial role and of how HR departments actually function in an organisation. Students work on real business cases and take part in workshops, and the core goal is clear: to prepare you to manage an organisation’s staff.

Specialisation: people instead of supply chains or projects

Management at AHE also offers Logistics and Project and Process Management – this path centres on people and relations. You develop knowledge and skills in:

  • human resource management that takes into account diversity, equal opportunities, discrimination in the workplace and social responsibility
  • designing and managing relations with stakeholders – employees, customers, suppliers, the local community and other internal and external groups
  • sustainable management that combines economic, social and environmental aspects, business ethics and corporate social responsibility
  • innovative social strategies and practices that promote pro-social action and the creation of social value
