Why study it:

The MA in Graphics at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (AHE) is a two-year Master's programme taught in English, full-time or part-time with e-learning support, ending with a Master of Arts diploma. It is meant for graphic artists who want to combine artistic expression with technical skill – and in particular for those drawn to 3D graphics and games.

Programme: design, visual storytelling, digital art

The curriculum blends theory, practical assignments and collaborative projects, building a strong foundation in graphic design principles, visual storytelling and digital art production. At Master's level AHE gives full practical preparation in graphic design together with deeper theoretical knowledge of art history. Specialist teaching covers an extended range of publication design, advertising and visual communication systems. Classes are run by artists and industry professionals.

Specialisation: 3D Graphics and Game Art

The English-taught MA is offered with the 3D Graphics and Game Art specialisation, where you learn:

  • 3D modelling, animation, texturing and lighting
  • industry-standard software and tools for visual effects and game environments
  • game development processes – character design, level design and asset creation
  • independent creative and design work in 3D graphics, computer games and interactive media

Exchanges: Erasmus and exhibitions

Every year Graphics students take up study at European universities through Erasmus, and their work is shown in individual and group exhibitions at the gallery run by AHE, as well as in international exhibitions and competitions in Poland and abroad.

After graduation: art direction, games, VFX

The programme prepares you to take on design problems in a creative, comprehensive way as an independent designer, graphic editor or art director.

Career paths named by AHE include graphic design, animation, game development, visual effects, advertising and multimedia production.

As of the 2026/27 admissions, based on the programme pages at ahe.lodz.pl.
