Researchers from the Nencki Institute studied the secrets of short-term memory

Researchers at M. Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS experimentally confirmed the determinants of the short-term memory capacity, crucial for the functioning of our consciousness. The Nencki Institute announced that a person can consciously simultaneously operate five to nine portions of information. During processing portions, these portions remain in short-term memory.

Kierownictwo MNiSW w nowym składzie

Studia podyplomowe - Współczesne edytorstwo wielojęzyczne

Do 29 lutego trwa nabór na podyplomowe studia edytorskie. Skierowane są one do osób, które ukończyły jednolite magisterskie bądź studiów I lub II stopnia o dowolnym profilu, pragnących uzyskać kwalifikacje zawodowe w zakresie edytorstwa. Cykl kształcenia obejmuje 270 obowiązkowych godzin dydaktycznych odpowiadających 65 punktom ECTS. Zajęcia mają charakter ćwiczeń, konwersatoriów lub wykładów. Odbywają się w systemie niestacjonarnym co dwa tygodnie w piątki i w soboty.

About the programme

Nanoengineering is Programme in common of Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland) and University de Starsbourg (France). It provides the means for students of Physics to acquire competence and skill by developing their creativity and knowledge.

The first three semesters consist of lectures, exercise classes and projects. The program is completed in the fourth semester by a Master’s Dissertation realized in a research laboratory.

The first two semesters students will spend in Wroclaw following a program offered at Wroclaw University of Technology; students will spend the third and fourth semester in Strasbourg, following a program offered at University de Strasbourg. Programs and curricula at both Universities are similar.
